5 Steps to Get Set Up for Mass Effect: Andromeda

A Final Note from Alec Ryder

Attention Ryder,

Now that you have emerged from cryosleep, we recommend checking your clearances and your equipment before embarking on adventures in the Heleus cluster.

We’ve put together this short guide to help get you ready to play Mass Effect™: Andromeda.

Check Your EA Account

Due to extended cryosleep protocols, we recommend you refresh your credentials.

Check Your Computer

If playing on PC, your computer is mission-critical:

Redeem Your Code

Your game code is your ticket to the Andromeda galaxy. Make sure you’ve redeemed yours.

If you pre-ordered a physical copy of the game, check you’ve redeemed your pre-order code too.

Check Your Online Access

Want to lead a squad of friends in Multiplayer? If you’re on Xbox or PlayStation, you’ll need to get set up for online play:

Pre-load

Make sure you can deploy quickly on launch day by pre-loading your game:

  • Check the Mass Effect: Andromeda game tile in My Game Library in Origin to see when you can preload
  • On Playstation 4 or PlayStation Pro, the game should pre-load for you automatically as soon as it’s available
  • On Xbox One, check the Xbox Games Store to see when pre-load is available for you.

If you run into trouble while working through this checklist, visit EA Help for troubleshooting tips, help with your account, or to get in touch with an EA Advisor.
